Club News

As most people who have been down to Mytham Road pitches will have seen there has been quite a lot of work going on over the past few months, this has comprised of general ground work, drainage, fencing and work on the clubhouse.

Drains - For many years now the pitches have suffered with holding water, in an effort to get rid of the water new drains have been dug down the side of the pitch, there is still more work to be done but a major problem area has being alleviated.

Fencing - A new fence has been erected around the main pitch, this has been twofold, firstly as the first team are in the Premier leauge we are expected to provide a spectator barrier, this is a lot better than the rope one we have previously used. Secondly we are using the fence to erect advertising boards that will bring the club extra revinue in its bid to build a new club house over the next year or so.

Clubhouse - A new kitchen has been fitted and a new coat of paint added, hopefully this will be the last work done on the exsisteing clubhouse.
